I have porridge everyday for breakfast. Oats and semi skimmed milk, 2 minutes in the microwave (I use a wide bowl, otherwise it boils over :_| ) add a drop of cold milk and a teaspoon of natural cane sugar. Works for me 😄

Half a mug of oats, one full mug water and bring to the boil.. stirring.
minute or so popping and stirring, then its into the bowl, sprinkle of sweetener and a splach of milk.
Or, you could try it the old scottish way, and just soak in water overnight, drain, put it in a container and eat as you go!

I make mine in the microwave. oats in bowl either water or milk...... depends on if the milk isn't curdled. tiny bit of butter brown sugar and cinnamon. Sometimes some blueberries and sometimes sultanas or raisins. And once in a while dried apple and maple syrup. I don't always have it for breakfast as I prefer a savoury breakfast and I like my porridge sweet.
