you can change lots of things
i have switched everyones signature off so no longer need to read them every post,
they are not very distinguishable between them and the actual post
was fed up reading the same thing at the end, already
off to investigate some more!
Think it will take us all a wee while to work out all the options and preferences buy hey-ho we've all been here before and we can all help each other out hopefully 
I have been going through the preferences but it seems the last post read function isn't working at the moment. I will put a line between my sig & my post when someone tells me how to do it! lol

Go into settings,type the broken line over your chosen sig then enter until it drops down the box
