Talking about messing up, I was v tired last night and when I was tidying the kitchen before bed I carefully rinsed and dried my breakfast teapot - and put it in the fridge - only found it about an hour ago. I blame the pills. Maggie should worry

Huge apologies. Real life and all that goes with it got in the way somewhat. And knowing I was going to need a little slot of time to type out the misfortune that befell my swap, it needed more than a fleeting few moments. If you want something messed up you can count on me.
Well Now I have a confession to make. i got a lovely purple package with not to be opened before Halloween stamped in big black letters across the top, so I hid it from myself. Because I cant be trusted. Seems I hid it very very well
Now when Halloween came round I couldn’t find it anywhere. Nor the next day …..or the next….At some point I was talking with stroppy on the phone desperately wandering round my house, looking in cupboards and drawers. Humm then I questioned, Had I in a moment of stupidity thrown it away. Now I assume its a relatively good spectator sport watching someone 5ft emptying a wheelie bin

had I inadvertently put it in the box of goodies I had got from purry for the lunch club and took it up to the hall?
Appears that is exactly what I had done. One of the ladies was up there yesterday and when she rang me to ask me something I asked her to look in all the stuff and see if she could find a purple envelope. Indeed there it was so I asked her to open it for me and tell me what was in it. She describes a beautiful felt mummy bat with two baby bats with red beads of blood dripping from their mouths and they are carrying a trick or treat sign. I know I imagined it as she described it to me but my imagination can sometimes run riot. Now what happened next is that her little granddaughter was there and fell in love with it so I said she could look after it for me but she must let Nanna take it to the lunch club for me to see it. So hopefully I will be reunited with mine tomorrow. Then I can take a photo of it. Oh and apparently there were some scary choklit lollies also. I hear they were very Yummy 🙂
