Go on then what did you have for your tea?

We had the last of the beef casserole from yesterday, it does taste better the longer you cook it.

Re: Go on then what did you have for your tea?

We had a very last minute concoction.  I'd cooked a BBQ flavoured chicken breast and I was going to do stir fry with a bag of stuff I had in the freezer, BUT it had frostbite so I quickly did some noodles and condensed chicken soup chopped up the chicken and added a tin of peas and a tin of sweetcorn.  It was a bit bland for me but he won't eat anything with any flavour!!  Then he had tinned fruit cocktail and I had a Kit kat.

You must feel awful Von.  I know when my mum was in hospital once, I took her some books in.  All I got was 'how long do you think I'll be in here for and I've read that book'.  It does hurt when things like what happened to you today.

We had turkey salad followed by fresh fruit.

Re: Go on then what did you have for your tea?

Got taken to a local pub eatery by Jan's daughter and boyfriend for a meal for Jan's birthday. Mixed grill followed by Hot chocolate fudge cake for me, and rump steak followed by Eton Mess sundae for Jan A lovely time was had by all especially onions/Olivia who spent a lot of time running to the outside play area, making friends with everyone in the pub, and Otis the Weimeraner and his family! ( Oh and Onions had fish fingers and curly chips, followed by frozen strawberry yoghurt)
