Treating OH to a steak tonight as I forgot to leave him anything for his tea last night as I was going out to eat, so a big dish of humble pie for me, Rump steak, mushrooms, onion rings, tomatoes and chips for him, everything except the steak for me, then back to work again later.

We do as Sandra. It's delicious. I'm not normally a great fish lover but I do love salmon.

I am a salmon fan too.:) How do you cook yours?

So am I, I usually wrap mine in parcels with a little lemon and black pepper.
I also adore fresh tuna steaks ooooohhhhhh, but so expensive.

What I tend to do is cook it in the microwave. I put it in a dish covered in cling film and cook it for 2 minutes on full power, leave it to stand for another 2 minutes and then cook again for a further 2 minutes again on full power. I normally season it will salt and pepper and some lemon juice. It tastes absolutely delicious. I could have salmon every day of the week.

Always cook fresh salmon in the oven wrapped in tinfoil with some butter in the inside and seasoned with a little salt and ground black pepper.
