Well I am pretty useless with eggs.. Don't really eat them .. So love my electric egg cooker, takes away the guess work when cooking eggs for others!

I have the most wonderful egg timer.  it is shaped like half an egg sliced lengthwise and is coloured red.  You put it in with the eggs and watch the colour seeping away untill it reaches the type of egg you want, eg, soft, medium or hard.  It is absolutely brilliant and totally reliable, even a handless object like my OH can manage to produce perfectly cooked eggs!!!

I used to boil eggs by putting them into an ordinary electric kettle. It worked. Except when the shells cracked, and coated the element with sticky white gunge.

Boiled Eggs, can't remember the last time I had a boiled egg for breakfast.  I hard boil them for sandwiches and salads though. Wouldn't bother with a egg boiler, I have enough gadgets that I don't use.
