Just been speaking to Lyndsey to find out how Lulu is getting on.
She had a rider on her back, (Lyndsey), for the first time. Apparently Lulu just stood there, turned her head round to see what was on her back, and sat down just like a dog in the sit position. 😮 :^O

Lulu has learned from the best, after all 😄
Bless her, what a sensible thing to do. At least she didn't buck.

I don't know how many of you remember the pictures I posted of Deno's sarcoids in the June of 2009 but I thought you might be interested in seeing how they are today.
This is what his sheath looked like
This is what it looks like today
This was the one on his thigh
This is it today
I didn't take pictures at the time but many of you will remember he had a nasty one on the side of his face and a horrible one on his bum!
These are what they look like today
The face
The bum
We are still treating them with Acyclovir which certainly seems to be working 🙂
28-02-2013 7:19 PM
How fantastic, they look so much better, almost gone, brilliant work creeky.
28-02-2013 7:22 PM
Wow! What a difference! Deno must surely feel much more comfortable now. Well done for keeping up with it Creeky 🙂 Is it just the normal Acyclovir that you get from the chemist for cold sores?? Or is it a higher dosage one?
28-02-2013 7:26 PM
We haven't been able to find a veterinary grade acyclovir Welshy, so we have been buying the cold sore creams.
28-02-2013 9:23 PM
Poor lad must be so much more comfortable now
01-03-2013 9:14 AM
its amazing. the difference. frank does the company that makes it know about it?
If not then its worth letting them know and sending them before and afters.
You never know they might give you free supplies . would be in their interests to develop a vet cream
01-03-2013 9:22 AM
Its astonishing, and such a relief. Well done to whichever vet first made the connection and tried it.

Hiya Weasel 🙂
Posh decided to open the gate from the stable area by sliding the poles out of their brackets this morning. X-(
First, together with Deno the field was churned up, then they decided to go up the road to see their friends the Shetland ponies X-(
Don't you just love them - 7am on a Sunday morning :_|
03-03-2013 10:34 AM
how did they manage to get out of the gate to go up the road? didnt yer brother in law keep it locked.
bless em they just fancied a lovely spring walk
03-03-2013 10:43 AM
morning weasey.
sniggers a post from deno on his facebook page.
I just dont know what dad franks problem is.
Posh says, do you fancy a nice early spring walk this morning, maybe call in and see friends on the way.
Well yes i said opne the gate then .
posh opens the bars on the gate and first we have a nice walk round the field, checking to see if the new grass has grown yet. ok so it was a little wet and the field got a bit churnbed up, but thats good isnt it? lets the air circulate and saves dad frank having to airiate it himself.
Having done that off we go up the road for a nice walk and see our friends the shetland ponies.
All dad frank has done since 7am this morning is moan and grumble, you would think he would be grateful we did his work on the field for him and got him out of bed early this morning so he could feed us early for a change.

So Moz I am trying to raise some dosh for a complete vagabond??? Sounds good to me. I don;t know what part you play Moz, perhaps you could enlighten me? I am totally confuddled. What part do you play exaxctly?. I have a feeling I may regret this question.I am glad both you and the horse sound totally bonkers - never be average in my book, is always good!xxx

deno a vagabond 😮
hes a lovely sweet gentle horse thats no trouble to any one.
the poor thing has to suffer terribly. take for instance his breakfast. The poor love has to wait until frank has had his cup of coffee in the morning. how inconsiderate and unreasonable is that ?:_|
My part ? i just help out when i can and try and carry out regular checks that he is not being starved;-)
psst if croaks comes lookin for me can you tell him i have suddenly had to disappear and dont when i will be back
