I'm a magpie, I'm so sentimental I can't bear to part with stuff.
I've had to stop collecting blue and white as I have far too much, I'm having to sell some off, we just don't have the room for it all. I'm still looking out for my British Scenery that I love, that's the only one I have on display now.....er, well except for stuff on my dresser.
I can't imagine a minimalist house hahahaha....yeah that would last about 5 minutes in here.
Ed, OH is just the same, there are allsorts of used and broken stuff in the shed "well you never know when I might need it" aaarrrggghhhhhh.

Minimalist. Apart from the records and CDs which don't count as they are essentials. And of course who could live without a couple of hundred books?. And the bakelite radios break up the monotony of the white walls. And you can't see the motorbikes they are in the cellar, and the garage. And the other garages, And the 20ft container.
Yup minimalism for me all the way!

Hoarder/collector, call it what you will, but I'm the same as Captainbovine - almost everything has some
sentimental value, because of where it came from/who gave it to me/what it reminds me of etc.
I collect glass and various other bits and pieces, but have to scale it down a bit as I've run out of
cabinet/wall etc to display it. Some of my Swarovski animals are still in their boxes as eldest son
used to smash things up when he lived here, and a few ot broken.

Definately not a minimalist...

A collector in recovery - downsizing and minimalising but struggling.
Have a box fetish which every so often I grit my teeth and deal with - I save boxes to send sold stuff in and then I don't want to use the lovely, my precious boxes I've saved.
