Ah, the one between Loch Lomond and the Clyde?

The one between Ulverston and Flookburgh.

Dratted Google...!!!
Meanwhile, over on the rail forum I asked what I thought was a straightforward question about the way some old bridges are bult, and it's now a case of can open - worms everywhere!

Yeah, Google isn't an exact science, doesn't always throw up the right result the first time, I'm still looking for an image of Molyneux Brow Station, I've found nothing, the closest I've come to getting an image of the station is a photo of the signal box form a book about signal boxes, unfortunately the photo is facing away from the station.... so close, yet so far!!

If I stick that into Google Images then the very first result is coming up as one of that station - but it's a very fuzzy image. Or is that the one you are talking about? It doesn't look like a signalbox to me, and there's a lot of platform in it, so I guess not...

The one on the Disused Station website is probably the one you are finding, that is of the railway station, but it is of such low quality that you can make out virtually nothing concrete. If I could get my hands on the original negative, I could easily produce a high res pic!

Yes, that's the one - and it's the exact same one that Petal has found.
The description claims it's the only known photo of the station, but I find it hard to believe that more weren't taken so it's possible that others may well exist but just haven't been made public yet.

I haven't time to watch that tonight, but I'm sure our ferroarchaeologist will be doing so...
Is the picture in it of the station when it was still inytact and in use? What time point in the video is it?

Ah, so there are more pictures!
If you're Googling, you'll be more likely to find ferroequinolgist which is a posh word for railway enthusiast ( literally "the study of the iron horse" ) so I adapted the word to cover the study of the disused lines...

Sadly no, I know the posted vid, I watched it when it premiered, the pics used are the same from the Disused Stations website, along with the image of the train coming into the staion but not of the station itself ![]()
The vid YouTube channel is Martin Zero and his actual name is Martin Fisher.

What about the "more pictures in private collections" bit though?

Somebody somewhere will do, but nobody has come forward with any at present, so we're currently in limbo with regards to finding any more photos 😞

Surely this video bloke must have seen some of them for himself if he's making such a definitive statement about their existence?
