Yes Leo - at least once it stopped raining!:^O
Talking of rain, today was the first day of a new 30 day photo permit for the Underground. True to form from previous years, the heavens opened! Thank goodness for platform canopies...!!

( 02.18 last night after losing a lot of time with computer problems )
Errr... you were saying, Momma?! Although to be fair until the problems struck I was heading for roughly 00.45...
Today I did another Underground photo session; really crunching through my number lists - the two days done so far have resulted in my going to have to take 5 films in for developing and printing tomorrow! So that's something like 180 to 200 photos taken already!
Not all will be numbers off my lists, of course - in many cases it's a question of click first and consult the list afterwards but as the volumes remaining decrease it is easier to remember what is still on the list...
Got a few days of normality now before my next mission...!!

What is a photo permit for the Underground Petery? Well, I guess it's permission to take photos on London Underground property 😄 but is taking photos on it forbidden then?
What about the national railway network? I've taken photos on/from those trains 😐

Wizi - it's a permit for taking lots of photos; there is a "passing through" rule which allows a few minutes but for serious photography ( in my case clicking my way through the fleet of trains ) one requires a permit. Just Google London Underground Photography and you'll get the details. For enthusiast purposes the "student and non professional" permit is the appropriate one.
On the national rail network, one should sign in at the main stations run by Network Rail, other than that it varies from company to company and station to station, but in most cases one should let the staff know before starting ( unless of course you're only there for a few minutes while catching a train ).
The big no-no in all cases is flash photography.

PS Momma - yes... good question... what exactly is normality?!:^O

( 00.41 last night ).
Will not be on tonight - the motor race is on from 22.30 up until 00.30 so I'm doing my online stuff now instead.
Leo - 19313 photos in my albums; 9 films waiting to be put into the albums - that's a further 330 - 340 pictures, so about 19,650 photos in total. At least as of today!
