collection code

collecting from a seller and am told I need a  collection code (a QR code and 6 digit code).   I have an order number but not been given this other stuff ....presumably this is an ebay generated item. Thing is I'm sending a courier to collect and I don't want him messed about or face subsequent charges if the collection goes wrong.

How do I go about hasing this as all enquiries seem to point back to the seller?

I'm not sure if this still works but it's worth a try.

Last time i needed a collection code i found it by clicking on "order details" after clicking on the item on my purchases page (on a pc).

I'm taking it that this was an item that offered collection and that you are aware that by using a third party you negate any MBG cover that you would have had if you were to collect in person.
