Why are sellers with copious amount of negative feedback for the same reason allowed to carry On

Really annoying

its my fault for not checking feedback but one seller has order after order not sent or received according to their feedback 

why do they do this

and don’t respond to queries 

they do refund as they have to I guess

they sent it untracked but I can’t believe Royal Mail lose so many orders in such quick succession for same person 

 

I messaged them and got zero response 

asked for a refund and zero response 

ebay say they can intervene after 3 days but not sure if I have to ask them to if no response again

 

Been two weeks since order was allegedly posted

You can check on the status of your orders by clicking on the "Help & Contact" tab at the top of your eBay page, which takes you through to Customer Service.

 

eBay will prompt you - see the blue banner in the attached screenshot - to take the required action when appropriate / necessary, just follow the relevant options... it's an easy way to keep track of when the due time has elapsed and cases can be escalated.

The refund process allows the Seller three days to refund you.  If they do all's well.  If they don't you ask e-Bay to "step-in" and they will refund you and get the money off the Seller and put a black mark on their account.
