What time is eBay live support available?

I went to https://ebay.co.uk/help and asked to speak to a human being.

The robot gave me a message that "Sorry, live support's currently unavailable." and It gave no indication of what times it is available. I asked it several times "What are the opening hours for live support?" and just got the same stupid answer that "Sorry, live support's currently unavailable." 

What are the opening hours for live support?

For ' live ' support' on a weekend it's between 9 a.m. and 6 .p.m.

On weekdays,  it's between 8 a.m. and 10 p.m.

Outside those hours for a 24 hour cover now, it's  automated assistants.

This is the easiest and quickest way to contact eBay Customer Services, for a Call Back option.

Lines open 8 a.m. - 10 p.m. on weekdays

9 a.m. - 6 p.m. on weekends.

Automated agents will be available on chat outside of the above hours.

I do recommend contacting CS very first thing in the morning, when the lines first open, as there's more chance of Dublin answering.

I opened that chat at 1:30pm UK time, today, Sunday. That's more than 4 hours before 6pm so why did the automated assistant keep repeating "Sorry, live support's currently unavailable"?

Weird that it's so hard to find that page. I've been going to eBay.co.uk/help and requesting a callback from there ever since they stopped taking incoming calls in 2020. But (a) the method I was using is far more convoluted than your method, and (b) the method I was using isn't working at all today, as described in my original post.

Is there any way of alerting eBay about this?

Me the same I went on in the opening times and the only option was to have ebay call you maybe the chat with an agent opens at 9am weekends and weekdays!

I've had to contact them only a few times but always on a weekday and always at 8 a.m. to speak to an agent from Dublin.  I only use the link in my other port,  to contact a CS agent.
