I have been bidding for a painting. eBay has now stopped my bids as I have had too many.  The painting is still for sale after 6 months.  I cannot start bidding for this item again, can anyone help?

Sounds like you are making offers, not bidding. If you have been making what the seller sees as silly offers, they may have blocked you.

Sounds like you have been making offers and have used up your 3 allowed offers. Try bidding instead if an auction or buying if it is BIN.
