Phone purchased is faulty.

Hi.  I bought a phone from Hong Kong. The phone arrived and wouldn't switch on. I tried to send it back but the royal mail wouldn't send it as it has a lithium battery and is prohibited

I took the phone to be repaired and was told it wasn't a real Samsung one

Now the seller is saying it is genuine and the repair shop are just saying that to try and sell me a phone.

I've no idea if it's genuine but I am sure it's brand new yet doesn't work.  I've opened a case against the seller    if they want the item back how can I send it if I can't post it?   Any advice would be welcome.

You can send phones with batteries in through the post, you just can't send the battery on its own.
