There isn't a number to call for eBay it's a call back option.

I recommend contacting CS first thing in the morning as there's more chance of Dublin answering.

You need to look at that seller's listing for that item.  Do they have a Returns Accepted policy?  If so, go right of the item purchased , and from More Actions select Return this item >>  Does not Fit.

You will have to pay for that fully tracked return postage. Once the seller receives their item they will fully refund you , if they don't within 48 hours of receiving their item,  escalate the case,  eBay step in,  and force the refund.

If the seller has No Returns you cannot return it for the reason ... Does Not Fit.

All ebay CS will do is point you towards the money back guarantee.

Thanks for this. It's a struggle even finding THIS option. I've received an unsolicited item that I wanted to find out about; it's not something I ordered but it was addressed to me and an item of clothing in a size that generally fits me. It's creepy and has caused me a lot of anxiety, but the automated assistant on here is thick as two short planks.

Do I understand you have received something in the post , you have not ordered?

If you have purchased some recent items from eBay,  checkout those sellers,  they may just have posted to the wrong buyer.

Click on the seller's listings,  then down the left sidebar click on Sold.  If you find the item there, send that seller a message  that you have received their item in error,  for them to send you enough money to cover a fully tracked return postage to return the item back to them.

Do not be fobbed off with sending to the correct buyer, it goes back to the seller.
