I'm making an offer an an item (worth around £1200). When it gives me the options to pay for the item if my offer is accepted, it does not give me the option to use my eBay balance, it just asks me to use a on file bank card or PayPal. I want to use my eBay balance (isnt that the whole point?).
Am I missing something? I know certain items/categories/things can't be paid for with ebay balance but as far as I can see this doesnt fall into those categories.
Thanks

Hi @greendusty-rhodes ,
There is still a delay with this going live for using best offer with the eBay balance. They are currently working on it in the background and once I get confirmation of it being live I will update you.
Thank you,
Kat

So is it eBay policy to tell us something is available before it is?

Hi @exiled_tyke ,
It's not intended to do that but sometimes there are circumstances outside of our control that can cause delays to changes on the site.
As soon as I have confirmation of it being live I will update the thread.
Thank you,
Kat

Ebay needs to extend the TRYBALANCE code (which ends today) as that can ONLY be used when you apply your ebay balance to a purchase (gives 10% off). As it is clearly ebay's fault (technical issue) that we still cannot use an ebay balance to prepay when making an offer !

Hi All,
I just wanted to confirm that the function to use ebay balance with best offers is fully live. If you wish to use your balance for an offer the option should be available on your account.
Thank you,
Kat
