Hi all, when making an offer on an item that has the Click & Collect option, you get the warning window that if the offer is accepted, your default payment method is used to autopay for the said item, however, it will only show you your primary address to send to but NO OPTION to choose the click and collect address from that windows.
I bought an item that way and it's being delivered signed for to my primary address as it was autopaid when the seller accepted. Although I can arrange for someone to be there or be there myself when I planned to be somewhere else, I didn't plan for it to be delivered this way.
I hope someone from the ebay coding and design team can fix this ASAP, it's likely to cause lots of problems if someone only buys an item on the assumption that they can use the optional Click & Collect delivery for convenience but then that ends up delivered to their primary address instead. Imagine if I had fallen out with my Partner/Wife/Husband...and they have a grudge and I had just moved out...
I suppose I could've tried to change the primary address although I'm not sure if I can put the click & collect as a secondary address as the collection code needs to be auto inserted by ebay when I choose it...
Any feedback or suggestions welcome

Yes, we know it doesn't work, that's why were all complaining. But eBay do nothing.

Apologies, I think mentioning that you had 'won' the item confused me. However, the same applies when making an offer that requires pre-authorised payment - any delivery options need to be set when making the offer, which I appreciate is not always ideal.

2 years later and this still hasn't been implemented!

The Click & Collect option is available when making an offer that requires a pre-authorised payment provided the seller isn't using Simple Delivery (as evidenced in the screenshots below). You need to click on the 'Delivery' tab not the 'Post to' one and it has to be set up at the point of making the offer.

You keep posting this but in reality this option doesn't come up when buyer makes an offer. Check my post above that reflects true picture.

So I have looked at it again, wondering why it shows to you and not to us.
When making an offer, click and collect option is now available ONLY if its a free delivery. However, for paid postage there still NO such option. See examples, both for "best offers"

I don't think it matters whether it is free delivery or not. Here is sn example without free delivery:
Your second screenshot is for an item being sent with Simple Delivery (denoted by the fact that it doesn't state the name of the carrier). As previously stated it doesn't currently work with items sent with Simple Delivery.
kat@ebay, marco@ebay, dave@ebay Is there a particular reason why Click & Collect isn't available for items sent with Simple Delivery when making a Best Offer which requires pre-authorised payment?
