New Buyer protection fees

So I collect football programmes and invariably I buy 5 or 6 at a time with for example a total cost of £18. Under the new ‘fee buyer protection’ in this example I will pay 6 x 75p plus 4% of £18 that’s an additional £3.72p making the total cost £21.72p 😡

Plus, your sellers will need to start using more expensive tracked delivery, if they don't already do so, or get a two week delay on receiving payment.

I buy often from sellers who pop everything into an envelope and charge ordinary 2nd class postage. If they switch to tracking, it's going to cost a lot more

I thought that untracked just releases the money after a longer wait.  Presumably so eBay can see no Items not received disputes.

Indeed. There should be an equivalent of 'combined postage' for low cost items in the same order, say 75p per order, + the 4% on total cost, would be much fairer.
