Good afternoon please can somebody help help me go forward my son paid £250 for an item bought. I believe this seller did not have this product to sell in the first place when my son originally paid for the item the seller asked which Pacific size item he needed when my son explained he wanted size 29 buy it then said he was out of stock so my son asked to cancel and to be refunded in the confusion panicking as he had just paid £250. He had pressed the return button accidentally now eBay is asking for returns How do I go forward explaining that it was never dispatched in the first place many thanks to you all

I'm surprised he was able to open a return when it hadn't even been despatched.
I've got absolutely no idea how you cancel a return and open item not received.
Can you claim via the payment method you/your son paid with?

Once you have opened a return case you cannot open a not received case.
If you paid by PayPal you can contact them to open the correct case.
