I am from UK the part is in Germany
it costs £1400
They would need to declare customs etc
would I be charged a further £280 to receive the item from VAT?

Ok thanks, I did win the item but seller cancelled they did offer UK delivery but this was the expensive item they had so I imagine they didn’t want the hassle of sending costs as they only put £15 p&p
then I looked up reasons and saw the customs declaration etc and brexit so I thought ah…. Glad I didn’t get it now
