Aquiline delivery scam

Following a recent purchase which I should have realised was too cheap to be true the item failed to arrive so I made a request to the seller as to whereabouts of the item .

The seller failed to respond but within minutes the oreder was shown as delivered but without any proof of delivery.

The weird thing was it was supposedly delivered whilst we were in the house.

Checked with all the nieghbours no luck so reported it as non delivery.

Ebay investigated but simply said it had been delivered so that was that. Still no tangible evidence of delivery.

Instead they said I had to contact the courier Aquiline myself asking them to verify delivery.

However all the contact details given by Ebay customer service proved to be false, not once but twice.

So buyer bewrae if you see Aquiline as courier you will probably never see your item, it will mysteriously be delivered within in minutes of you raising a query but you will not get it, there will be no tangible evidence of delivery, Ebay will say no action as it has been delivered and you will be left out of pocket.

Conclusion Ebay are complicit in this scam, I wonder what cut they get from all that is stolen from the buyer.

I think one or two ebayers had success getting a refund by contacting eBay customer services and telling them it was fake tracking site.

You could also try your payment provider.

Firstly where did the item come from? Was it for example from Asia? Or was it from a UK seller? Do you have an item number?

There is a theory that its a company that converts tracking not recognized by eBay into eBay-recognized tracking numbers. It's primarily used by sellers who use Fulfilled by Amazon, where they pay Amazon to warehouse, pick, pack, and deliver their goods.

You can put the tracking number into the official Aquiline website, which would show the true status of your item. If its as a bove then it will come up with something like invalid number.

Personally with the number of threads on this, and if it is something being used by dropshippers then its a loophole that ebay need to consider closing.

I have recently purchased an item which the supposedly said was delivered on 22nd June. Meanwhile on the same tracking system states shipping label for item made on 27th June and awaiting item. How come and item being awaited on 27th June be delivered on 22nd June at 05: 45 am.its absurd. I have sent multiple messages to seller but no tangible response. It's a shame the item was never received and I have wasted £23 pounds .I'm never buying from eBay again. Never

Bought item on Ebay. Delivered by Aquilline ,able to track all the way. Only complaint is the fact parcel was left at front door,most companies put  out of sight,at my back door.

Aquiline has been used about 8 times this past year for my purchases. Every time my order  arrived perfectly and actually sooner than expected. on 1 occasion the Aquiline tracking number showed delivered on ebay 2 days after i received the item. But Apart from that I have had very fast delivery on item sent with acquiline tracking number.  That is my experience

Regarding your experience Ebay should have refund the money to you. That is what they often do when buyer dont receive the item even if it is marked "delivered"

Same thing happened to me, i got a refund from my bank, it took a month but got it in the end, ebay was absolutely useless.
