what is a high feedback buyers score

Hi all what is a high feedback buyers score?

It really doesn't matter what a buyer's feedback score is - it makes no difference.  If you're just buying items with the sole intention of getting your feedback score nudged up to a number that you feel is "high" then you're buying for completely the wrong reasons.  If you're going to buy items at all then your decision to buy should be due to the fact that you actually want the item, as opposed to hoping that the seller will leave you a nice feedback comment if you buy something from him or her.  After all, you're buying the item, not the feedback comments.  Is the reason that you've never left feedback for anybody that you've bought from based on some strange sense of rivalry, whereby you're hoping to get a higher feedback score than your "opponents" who also buy and sell on the site?  If this is indeed the reason then it is a very strange motive for buying on the site - it's on a par with collecting marbles as a kid and comparing with all the other kids in the playground who's got the most out of everybody!

In summary eBay's feedback system is so badly flawed and severely based in the buyer's favour that eBay really ought to scrap the feedback system in its entirety.  There's no point in having a feedback system if the buyer is allowed to say what he or she likes about the seller with no consideration given to the consequences of the feedback left, yet the sellers on this site are forbidden from leaving buyers neutral or negative feedback, even if it is a completely factual and accurate summary of the transaction from the seller's viewpoint.
