I purchased 2 x items from seller - they have sent wrong item - they have accepted for a return - I am being asked to pay postage - please advise

Even if you did open the wrong case, it is the sellers mistake and he should morally send you the postage, to return.
If he has sent your item to someone else, then the seller will find it an expensive mistake,which is the most effective way of learning not to do it again.
