seller has sent wrong items, has accepted return, but I am being asked to pay return postage

I purchased 2 x items from seller - they have sent wrong item - they have accepted for a return - I am being asked to pay postage - please advise

If you opened a return request for the correct reason (not as described) you would not be asked to pay for the return. The seller would be forced to pay. Buyers only pay for change of mind, does not fit, and buyer error returns. What reason did you chose from the list that Ebay presented you with...?

I listed "does not fit as is incorrect item " and eBay say they can not "overide" this ???????????

I am begining to think eBay is not worth using anymore - too much hassle and no help from eBay, think I will use Amazon from now on, there returns policy is top notch !
