order canceled but no refund

I placed an order on the 26th of March, which was marked as dispatched. then a week later I got a cancelation notice. The seller said they'd been let down by their currier, and that's very beleiveable. the problem is I still haven't recieved a refund - i've checked the paypal transaction.

Is there any way I can let eBay know i've not had my refund yet? the only option on the cancelation is 

• I didn't pay for this order
• I paid for this order and I received a refund

What if neither of these is true? because the order doesn't show up in my perchase history anymore and the drop down menue doesn't have the option to report any problems.

If you received an Ebay email telling you you've been refunded, you've been refunded.  The transaction on your Purchase History page will also tell you that you've been refunded.

If you paid using your PayPal account, the refund will have been pretty much instant, unless the seller refunded via e-cheque. These, like any cheque, can take up to 10 days to clear.  Check your PayPal account or read the PayPal refund confirmation email for details.

If you paid through Paypal using a debit card, the refund will take up to 7 days to clear into your bank account.

If you paid through PayPal with a credit card, the refund can take up to 30 days to appear on your cc statement.

The above timeframes are the bank industry norms.

Thanks, it is under cancelled orders, but there's no refund symbol and no refund notification - I've had sellers had to cancel before and never really had this problem.
I looked at my paypal and there's nothing showing there, the last 3 refunds I had (I seem to buy from sellers who lose things before they post them!) went back to my paypal account.

You need to message the seller in the first instance.
Have you looked into your paypal account?
You can ask ebay to look into this for you. in Help & Contact. It's text chat only at the moment.

Are you sure that the order is not in your purchase history under CANCELLED ORDERS? Scroll down the page.

Refunds go back to source so if you used a debit card it takes 7 days to go back to Bank, if a Credit card up to 30 days.

Iam sure that when youfind the order it will havete Paid £ symbol changed to the Refunded Symbol.
