how do i contact ebay about appealing their decision as it just goes round in circles

i had an email from ebay saying i had 30 days to appeal their decision however when i try it just goes back to telling me the case is closed and i have 30 days to appeal the decision

You don't give any details, as you could probably save yourself a lot of time as appeals rarely if ever get anywhere. If you gave details we could probably give an opinion as to whether you have a case worth wasting time on.

i received an item which wasn't as described, contacted the seller and arranged to send the item back. which i duely did. ebay said i would get my money back when the seller had received it. they then wanted proof that the seller had received the item which i sent in reply to that email, however i did not notice the small print which states that they do not read replies . the next email i received from ebay said the appeal was closed and i could appeal the decision. which is impossible as it just takes me back to the same page saying i can appeal the decision,

You were supposed to put the tracking number into the return details, it's no good sending it by email because it's a no reply email route, they don't get read.

There's nothing you can do now, to be honest.
