I purchased an item which was sent to me on the Royal Mail tracked service. I received an email saying the item had been delivered at a time when I know I was at home, the item was definitely not delivered.
i contacted the seller and as the item was posted, EBAY have determined that I have to stand the loss of my money and goods.
Do I have any avenues of redress here?
Firstly contact your local delivery office with the tracking number they can check the gps on their system to determine where the package was delivered and tell you if it shows as delivered to you or not.
If it shows as not being delivered to you they may offer to attempt to collect it or you will need written confirmation of wrong delivery to appeal the eBay decision.
