UK customer service telephone number query

Hi. Does anyone have, or know where I can locate, a UK customer service telephone number? I have a problem with a resolution whereby the seller states they have sent a postage label to return an item, but they haven't.

I cannot see an option to escalate after 8 days in this scenario, so want eBay to send me the label (seller not being particularly helpful). If someone could therefore provide a number, so I can speak to Ebay in person, that would be really helpful.

Hi,

I have tried to purchase items but when I press the buy it now, I just get a load of mixed information in different typefaces on my screen which means that I am unable to bid or purchase.

It is not my computer because all of the other websites I visit are 100% normal.

I have tried to contact the customer services on ebay but their page is the same and does not respond.

I am hoping to bid on an expensive item tonight, so could anyone please help?

I have only just seen these responses to my query in May. None of the suggestions posted were correct, as my return request was witin the required time frame, & the seller had to provide a label (according to the T&Cs ) but didn't. I also managed to find a customer services number (so they do exist), & Ebay were very helpful and refunded me the money i had paid for the item because the seller did not abide by the T&Cs. So the moral of the story is, you sometimes get better results if you persevere and don't always rely on inaccurate advice.
