Hi,
I have tried to purchase items but when I press the buy it now, I just get a load of mixed information in different typefaces on my screen which means that I am unable to bid or purchase.
It is not my computer because all of the other websites I visit are 100% normal.
I have tried to contact the customer services on ebay but their page is the same and does not respond.
I am hoping to bid on an expensive item tonight, so could anyone please help?
Regards
Paul
If you can't see a date on which you can escalate to Ebay (which will be 8 x 24 hours to the second after opening), then that will be for one of three reasons:
- You selected a reason for the return that involves you having to pay for it. Sellers can only be forced to supply return labels for items which are not as described. What reason did you select from the list presented to you?
- You selected a reason that involves the seller having to pay, and the seller agreed to the return, which triggered a returns label and naturally removed the escalation date from the case. Once the seller has agreed to the return, his job is done. It's then up to you to print the label from the link in the email that Ebay supplied in their message to you (which will be in your Ebay messages, as well as in your email inbox). When you click on the link, the label will download to your desktop, ready for you to open up and print.
- You opened a case too late. You have 30 days for the delivery estimate on the order in which to open one that is escalatable. After that 30 days, cases can be opened, but for communication with the seller only.
Whichever of the above reasons applies, there's no point in calling Ebay (there is no UK-based customer service in any case). The case and return systems are fully automated. If you fail to properly use the tools that Ebay supply, they can't help you, I'm afraid.
Not allowed to give numbers I'm afraid...
you need to go to help/ contact at top of page and scroll down to bottom where you will have the option to live chat/ call back ( I think)
the option to escalate is timed to the very second,..where are you looking for the returns label? ...
what is the reason for the return?
