Opened a case 28th Oct. Still waiting on a reply.

Started a return on 17th Oct,no refund from the seller so opened a case on 28th Oct.

Only info I am getting is "Hang on, we're still reviewing your case.We'll be in touch with you soon"

I do understand things are taking a bit longer but I would appreciate a bit more info.

Why did you open a case when you'd already opened a return request...?  Ebay can't help you now unless the return request is still open (if it is, all you have to do is follow the instructions).

The separate case you've bizarrely been able to open will be for communication with the seller, and not one you can escalate to Ebay. You get one chance per transaction - either a return request, or a case.

You say you started a return, what sort?

Sellers do not refund just because you have opened a case, you have to return your purchase using tracked mail and when tracking shows as delivered THEN the seller should refund, if not you can escalate to ebay.

What exactly have you done, and what is there for ebay to consider, unless you have proof of return they will or should not do anything.

If you've escalated it all you can do is wait.  eBay are taking longer than usual.  If you haven't escalated it you should do that now.

Go to the return case via the link on the ebay message or in Resolution Centre, click on Case Details > Respond to Case > Escalate This Case > Submit.
