When I initially contacted the seller he was responsive but since I returned it for repair or replacement on 11th August I have heard nothing more. I can no longer contact seller via purchase history (get a message saying item cannot be found), I can't open a return request so that I can get Ebay involved because the phone was purchased in Oct 2019. Obviously there must be something I can do as the supplier is selling phones with a 12 month warranty so would appreciate any advice / help please.
TIA
if you click `help & contact` at the top of the screen, it will bring up your recent purchases and you can get the details/listing from there.
i hope you at least sent the phone back via trackable means, so you can at least prove you did should any action be required, because if you did`nt, the seller could claim you never sent anything, or at least he did`nt receive anything.
your best bet if you can`t get hold of them, assuming this is a business seller, is get advice from c.a.b or trading standards, then take it from there.
My advice has always been the same, warrenties are only as good as any ability to enforce them, so anything you buy that may at some point require warrenty work, is go to a shop, at least then you have a point of contact and a face to talk to. Ebay may be great for old dvd`s and record players or something, but for £500 phones, t.v`s, washing machines etc, go to a store 🙂
