If i buy a product with 2year warranty, and it broke within a year, what can i do?

Can ebay help me?

No. Warranties can only be offered by sellers and manufacturers, and Ebay is neither of those things - it is simply a platform on which sellers offer their wares, ie. an electronic version of your local shopping mall.

Ebay's 30-day Money Back Guarantee, along with PayPal's Buyer Protection, can legally only cover items which you can see are damaged, faulty or not as described on receipt.  Ebay and PayPal (or any payment processor) cannot possibly assist with warranties or with items which you report as problematic further down the line, as they can have no idea who is at fault - you for misusing the item, or the seller for supplying substandard goods.  Only a judge can make such a decision.

But Ebay's MBG and PayPal's Buyer Protection are generous extras to your consumer rights - they don't replace them.  If the seller is a Swedish business seller, go to your consumer help site to learn what to do. If the seller is not in Sweden, there is nothing you can do. That is a risk you take when buying goods from abroad.
