So I ordered 3x£50 Steam Cards on 20/09/2020 and they arrived on 24/09/2020 . 2/3 of the cards had no funds on them and seller suggested I return them through DPD, who collected them on 28/09/2020. I have screenshots of the email transcripts indicating that DPD took the faulty cards and that seller was processing a PayPal refund that never occurred. I've contacted support multiple times and they suggest I talk to Ebay/PayPal. So how would I go about receiving my £100 refund?
Help would be much appreciated.
As they were delivered on 24 September you should be just within the 30 day time limit to open a case under eBay's money back guarantee, through the resolution centre.
Your problem may be that to claim for an item that was not as described, you're required to return it by a tracked delivery service, and when requested to enter the tracking number to prove delivery. Did you receive a tracking number from DPD when they collected it? If so, your case should be straightforward, as long as you open it in time and the tracking number proves delivery. So act quickly!
