Ebay made an error on my account, is there a phn no. or e-mail to contact them that actually works!

There is an error on my account, a seller has not responded to many messages and it is impossible to find a way of actually speaking to someone at Ebay about this. Can anyone help me?

Doesn't sound like anything ebay should do. It is in your hands, you make mistakes you put them right.

If you had said exactly what the problem was, you would have had an answer, rather than trying to contact ebay when it is almost certainly unnecessary.

Seller A

Seller B

Seller A - I bought and paid for the item. It did not arrived when estimated. Contacted the seller who immediately cancelled the item, apologised and said they would refund. Refund did not appear. Went through the resolution centre. Seller immediately apologised and refund was sent. Received ebay notification with the picture of the item next to it confirming refund sent. Job done.

Seller B - I bought and paid for the item. It did not arrive when estimated. I sent a polite message to let them know it had not arrived and said I would give it a few more days allowing for Covid and Christmas rush etc. No response. 4 days later still had not arrived. Messaged seller asking for advice. No response. After a couple more days I responded again and asked for another to be sent as it was a gift and could they guarantee it would be with me before Christmas. No response. I sent another message. No response. Went through resolution centre, but there is no option to ask purely for a refund - there is only a return and refund. I had nothing to return as it had never arrived. So I selected return and refund and explained this in the message box. Got standard ebay response sending me a returns label saying that refund would happen when item was returned. Messaged the Seller to explain all this. No response. A couple of days later I check my account to see if there was any action and it showed on my account that I had confirmed a refund for this item with of picture of it attached. I NEVER did that! The next day I received a message confirming the refund from Seller A with a picture of Seller A’s item next to it! This issue had been resolved weeks before! I went into My Ebay to screen shot all of this to gather evidence and Seller A has completely dropped off my list, long before older Purchase History items.

I am receiving reminders from ebay to return the item from Seller B in order to get my refund. I have received another today saying that I’m running out of time and if I don’t send it back by the 11th January, Ebay will close the issue. I have nothing to send back, as I never received it in the first place. The Seller B has not responded to any of my messages. There is the error on my account which I had NO hand in and I cannot contact ebay to speak with someone about it all.

So I completely hear and understand everything you said in your response to me but I am at a loss to know what to do. When I bought from Seller B their rating was at 97%. I looked at their account details and they were at 91.6% yesterday with several complaints of items not arriving and no response to messages. They have accepted the return and refund from the resolution centre so I know they are active but simply will not and have not responded to any of my massages and when I select for ebay to step in and help or to contact ebay, the selection process simply takes me round in a circle telling me that I need to send the item back - and I can’t!!

Can you help me?
