ebay changing shipping to freight even when royal mail was selected

i have had it 3 times now in the last weeks where on larger items i have selected royal mail 2 nd class as shipping cost 7 £ - these are items weighing in the range of 10 kilo . however to the buyer it shows freight shipping contact buyer ? i had another message of a buyer last night where they wanted to buy something and was not showing the cost for them . i thought i'll  change the postage in the listing but than i noticed it had the 7 £ shipping option selected as i thought i did yet showed something else to them . 

before i get in touch with customer support i just wanted to check in if this happened to someone else or they have made some new rule i don't know about .

Okay, let's start to check the basics. It sounds like you intended to post RM 2nd Medium Parcel up to 10kg which is priced £7.89 over the counter. The weight limit is 10kg, as you say. But you don't mention the size. The size limit is 61 x 46 x 46 cm. Did all your packed items fit this size?

Have you checked your Business postage policies? 

You may have two similar which you are selecting for your larger items. The air fryer which you have listed shows £7 postage although the one which you have sold shows courier, contact seller.

yes for the sold one i had to send an invoice to get the postage on even though it had the same shipping option selected when i listed it . and the sold one shows freight to buyers but shows 7 pounds royal mail when i open the listing to make an adjustment

It sounds like a glitch.

I would call CS and ask them to take a look at your postage policies.
