Zero of your active listings qualify for benefits

We are a ebay Top Rated Seller with 30 days free return , next working day delivery plus any items over £20 offered with full tracking for 1-2 days.

Why is still our listings not eligible for "ebay Premium service benfits"

Is there an issue with ebay as we followed all their requirements.

Please advise.

Difficult to advise if I can't see your listings.  Do you offer freepost?  If so, and the service is 2nd Class, do you offer same day despatch?

Also, when did you become TRS?  Premium Service benefits won't kick in immediately.

Do you offer a premium fast delivery upgrade I.e. special delivery postage option for under £10

Having had the same issue, I suspect your free post option is second class RM?

If so you need to set your dispatch time to same day, otherwise it doesn’t meet the minimum expected delivery time.

Please note, when you make the change in postage policies, it can take anything from 6-24hrs before you see your badge and get the discount. Try making that change, leave it overnight and hopefully it will work for you.

Re: Zero of your active listings qualify for benefits

Why are you concerned ?

Ive been TRS since it replaced 'Powerseller' status many moons ago.

Back in the good old days you used to get a 20% discount on fees , then that was cut back to 10 % and now zilch.

 "ebay Premium service benefits" -

what exactly are they now in material terms?

If you are told you get preferential standings in Search functions - is there a measurement criteria for this which is viewable or are you to take ebays word for it ?

All the factors regarding mailing you mentioned seem to be planned to be removed shortly with the changes ebay are bringing in.

Re: Zero of your active listings qualify for benefits

They want the premium service badge which gives 10% off the FVF this can soon add up over a month.

TRS is based on service metrics only.

I will attach a recent sale

Re: Zero of your active listings qualify for benefits

TRS is based on service metrics only.

What are those?

premium service badge

What hoops have to be jumped thru to get this?

To view a seller's detailed seller ratings, select the number in brackets next to their username to go to their feedback profile. You'll find stars next to the four different areas, with 1 star being the lowest rating and 5 stars being the highest.

This feature used to be useful to gauge self performance as viewed by buyers  - but for a few months the numbers are inert now.

-  No, it’s still 10% providing you jump through eBays hoops.

-  tend to agree with that although we do seem to get higher placement as TRS with badge than other sponsored listings without? No other proof though.

-  Assume you mean Simple Delivery? That is only proposed for Private Sellers at the moment (wouldn’t be surprised if eventually rolled out to all though).

Re: Zero of your active listings qualify for benefits

Worth noting they add VAT to the fee too so your 25p saving is actually worth 30p had you not had TRS 😁

The link below is what is based on your TRS level.

3 Metrics.

Transaction defect rate

Late delivery rate

Cases closed without seller resolution

Re: Zero of your active listings qualify for benefits

Perhaps the new delivery filter is going to be more relevant than the previous delivery options requirements.

Otherwise, sellers offering simple delivery (when it is extended to business sellers) will be automatically excluded from TRS status.

Re: Zero of your active listings qualify for benefits

I had this issue when I first became a top rated seller.

The problem was for my free delivery option I selected 'Royal Mail 2nd Class' that doesn't work, I needed to select 'Royal Mail 2nd Class Small Parcel.' That fixed it.

Not sure why they have two options for the same thing, I think maybe the first one counts as large letter which doesn't get a delivery confirmation which is required.
