Variations

Hi, I hope you guys can help.

I'm trying to create a listing with variations. I seem to have sorted it but when the customer selects they want a letterbox in the door I'm selling, I need the price to increase by £10. I have added "letterbox" to the variations but the only way I can see to do this is to change the overall price on all items with a letterbox.

Problem is that this listing has around 500 variations because of the different colours available etc.

I assumed I could tell the system just to add £10 once a customer selects a letterbox.

I hope this makes sense as I don't fancy changing the price on 500 items individually.

Thank you

That isn't how MVLs work; every combination of variables you select has its own price. For example, you could have an option called "Letterbox" and values of "Required" and "Not Required"; you would then set the price for the "Required" combinations £10 higher than the "Not Required" combinations.

MVL variables are not price modifiers; you have to enter a price for every combination of variables.

Give me ambiguity or give me something else.

Re: Variations

Is every door available either with or without a letterbox?
