One for the E-bay staff here. Received a few messages like this today on some of my returns (and checked a friends account, same thing there)

dave@ebay - Any ideas? I think these were sent in error, you might want to check.

I had one yesterday too.

I was going to do nothing until  the buyer marks as sent - in which case I was going to ring Concierge. If no CS answers on here, I will report back.

We had one last night. Today the item is in returns waiting to be sent back to us. I contacted eBay and no matter how I phrased it I could not get the rep to admit that it was an error/glitch on eBay's part. Which it obviously is. They're down on us like a ton of bricks if we post items late but can't keep their own stuff in order.

I got the same message today, just minutes after a buyer opened a return.

The return however, still shows as open. So will still assume the item is being returned as requested.

Seems to be constant glitches recently. I wish they would stop playing around and messing things up.😞

Protrader have confirmed this is a glitch. The more of us who report the higher up the priority list it goes. Provided the returns stays 'open' in your return section, refund buyer as usual.
