Selling

Hi

I sent an item by Royal Mail to the US and had to pay the 10% tariff up front.  The buyer refused to refund me but Ebay said they would.  This is not fair.  I dont want to use GSP, is there anyway around this

GSP is the only way to send postal-sized items to the US with "delivery duty paid" at checkout. Trump made overseas postal operators responsible for collecting and remitting tariff charges; not the online marketplaces that are facilitating the sales.

If you send anything to the US via Royal Mail you will have to pay the tariff upfront to RM. eBay has no way of charging the buyer for this and you can't force the buyer to reimburse you after purchase either.

Give me ambiguity or give me something else.
