“Private” Business Sellers

We all know that there are thousands of sellers masquerading as private, when in fact, they are businesses.

The question that I have is, why eBay seem to be doing little about the problem?

The previous means to report the sellers concerned, appears to have been removed, almost as if it’s being made difficult to report such things.

Hi Op.  it’s pointless reporting them.  There are 3 dots on the listing to report and if you find them please come back and let us know what the AI reply is. !  Ime putting my money on nothing to see here !

Though it is very difficult to get very far with this kind of thing, not reporting is not an option.
The less people do report, then the less that Ebay will see a problem.

So it is most definitely worth reporting.  Even with the negative returns.

I've had some success doing so.  Though far from every time.
If you want to, you can also report them to trading standards, as by using a seller account, they are fraudulently misrepresenting themselves.  Never mind the consumer laws that they are ignoring.
