Just had a listing removed it was a MINIATURE safety razor which to be honest is about the size of a 50 pence piece and was removed under the knives policy also had a couple of items stopped by GLOBAL SHIPPING PROGRAMME because they are made out of mahogany which to be honest is just plain stupid as there is a ban on a couple of rare mahogany woods found in South America but the items posted were ENGLISH mahogany and over 100 years old plus also had other military items stopped including a ww2 antenna KITE which is just baffling.
I believe that Ebay needs to have a close look at the left wing snowflakes who work in there policies department because they really really need to be taught some common sense............sorry about the rant but sometimes I wonder weather Ebay is really interested in helping sellers anymore

Regarding the wood.
There's very strict import regulations for numerous countries for wood, so usually nothing to do with eBay.

Some types of Mahogany is on CITES along with Rosewood and Ebony to name a few more. Ebay cant check every wood sent internationally so they stop all wood in this category.
I agree with you on the Knife policy though as they have stopped toy key rings ( mentioned before) butter knives, fish knives, letter openers, scissors to name a few. You can still list a baseball bat though which could do more harm than your miniature razor.
I also had an empty queen conch shell lamp shade removed once as the 'meat' inside is listed on CITES.

You really think that's the problem? Try not to be a part of the Daily Fail reading idiots who blame everything on bleeding heart lefties. It ruins your credibility.
I absolutely promise you that no person looked at your listing before the items were pulled. This is all algorithms that would rather take down a hundred false positives than miss one real infringement. There are very strict laws about hardwoods in this country.
Same applies to blades of any sort.
Contact them and ask them for clarification on policy around the items.
