Price increase on listings but havent changed them? Added VAT???

Over the last 12/14 hours Ive found over half my listings have increase with price (had VAT added to actual listing price).

When i go to edit a listing it shows at the price I have set but when search for it it shows it more expensive - i.e Black Panther 2 BluRay  eBay 135201485404 when I go to revise my listing it says the price is £6.99 (which is correct) but when search for it on the site it says its £8.39 - sales have been massively down overnight (only sold 8 items usually sell in excess of 20+)

Cant seem to chat any CS on auto chat or request a call back.

The few sales I have done over night have been charge at the amount I put not the extra being advertised - anyone else seem to have this?

Just spoke to Gavin at CS - theres a glitch thats adding addiontial VAT on top of all listings - they are aware about it but have no time scale for it being fixed - doesnt help when its affecting sales - but looks like i'll get to enjoy the sunshine today instead of doing lots of orders 😂

Perfect. On the last sales day of the month. I've just checked mine and I have had vat applied to some of my listings I've also noticed that a couple of my buyers have been charged sales tax

Surely this has big tax regulation implications. This glitch should be fixed immediately

I've done several searches over the last ten days or so, and there are many sellers suffering this glitch.

The way feedback is displayed has been changed yet again...............Ebay please fix the glitches first.

I chose to edit all my listings, making no changes, the prices then returned without the dreaded added VAT

Nice catch.  I noticed mine where doing this on a different account.

What got me, was that some where brand new listings (I list every day) and still adding the VAT.

But just tried an edit and that seems to have worked.

Only another 200 to go!

are you doing this as individual edits or bulk? I just tried bulk doing them (all listings and it didnt work) 😫

Individual, but a bulk may work.  It will just take longer for the listings to be updated.

It's takes a few minutes after the edit for the change to be noticed.

Spotted this on my listings in the last 48 hours, if I refresh the page sometimes it displays at actual price but then will display with 20% added vat. Also seen it on many other sellers items as well, in terms of purchases I wasnt charged 20% vat when I bought stuff.

It does make me wonder what changes they are planning, why else would this glitch even happen. 

Also sales have dropped 60% in the last 48 hours so thats always fun.

I had this problem and you can  " bulk edit  " all your items in one go via the " Manage Actice listings " 

Just select edit all dont change anything and press submit all . It will take about 5 minutes for the listing to update after the edit  but this should revert the price back to normal.

I have just tried this, thank you, although it has changed some but not all. Manually tried to change the price on one item and it reverted back to the VAT included price.

Considering this is a multi billion company, you would  think they would have sorted this out by now!

I tell a lie, they have now magically gone back to the correct prices! Considering I called CS on Saturday morning and they still hadn't corrected it and in seconds, it's nowok.

Yup same here. 20% extra on everything. Wonderful. You literally could not make up how many 'glitches', this platform has. It's like there is someone paid to come up with new ways to break the site never seen before.
