Anyone else noticed that ? ebay/Royal Mail link broken ???
ALL items posted on Monday the 13th via Royal Mail Tracked 48 had their tracking data since removed & not updating, showing ebay message "Running behind" or "Not posted" on items that either were already delivered or are due to delivery today.
I always check the tracking after business collections & all the tracking data was there on the day of dispatch but since this morning all the original tracking has gone.
There are a few threads on seller central but not on business boards.
Example in case any ebay's employee is passing by this thread & can inform the tech team,

Hi All,
Tech have confirmed the data issue between eBay and the Royal mail has been resolved. Recent tracking events are updating as normal. They are currently working on back filling the tracking data for those that were not updating over the last week.
There should be no impact to performance.

Thanks for the update.
I know you are a small cog in a big wheel but can you impress on senior management how major this affected a lot of sellers causing a lot of stress and extra hours work for both sellers and ebay customer services staff.
If only ebay had published an announcement on the seller hub, at least everyone would actually have known what was happening and it was being worked on. Even ebays own customers services staff didnt appear to know their was a major problem so sounds like internal communication was just as bad !!!!

Thank you for your reply. I understand on what your advising of the effect on yourself and other sellers. While we aim to try and resolve issues as quick as possible it can be difficult to get timeframes on these. On the community side we can only provides updates once we get these from tech but we make sure to report all users who notify us here.
I'll share your feedback regarding a general announcement for these type of technical issues as a future improvement on eBay communication.

Hi, if the items I sold have not shown as delivered through tracking post. How long do I have to wait to get payment from ebay for these items.

Thank you for your post.
For untracked deliveries, or tracked deliveries with no delivery confirmation, funds will become available 14 calendar days from the order date.
If you have tracking that is not updating on the eBay side but is updated as delivered on the carrier site you can reach out to customer support to review for manual release of funds.

However funds are not released by ebay unless it is shown as DELIVERED on eBay side of things , regardless what the Royal Mail tracker shows.

I am in the same situation.. The parcel tracking shows item DELIVERED for collection by the buyer at the post office , but ebay still shows as DISPATCHED pending a collection..
My funds are on hold until ebAY shows it to be delivered, regardless of the RoyaL Mail status.

Just to add, appears that other courier tracking details are not being respected as I have three items confirmed delivered or collected with photographic evidence to demonstrate this, yet no change with ebay status five days later. Courier used was DPD UK. Have now spoken to the support team and provided the evidence required which prompted a release of funds request with the appropriate team - loving that I have to do all the leg work here. Actual evidence of this pending as no email or text message, just the word of the support agent, who also advised it can take up to 48hrs… Feels like back to square one!
Do I believe I will see the funds - who knows and I will post again to update up to 48hrs from now. Shocking update to the system what a great way to treat the sellers - far from impressed and things have gone backwards. Time to consider other options…

Well it is nearly 48 hrs later and nil communication to date, status on all orders remains ‘Funds pending – awaiting delivery’. All deliveries completed over five or more ago with DPD updates to demonstrate. Utterly useless - rest assured my feedback request for the service received has expressed the appropriate dissatisfaction! I wonder if the fund will ever be paid!

Any update on this. Causing absolute chaos with not being able to track packages. Got so many not showing as delivered although they have been. Waiting for payments, not being able to track orders. Can't even type the ref into royal mail directly.

This amuses me that eBay can’t remedy this so that sellers get the money they are owed but can make all the other changes and I bet there were no issues with implementation of buyer protection but 2 months on and issue still not resolved.
Where else can people buy items and the person who has sold it not get paid for days or even weeks after it’s been delivered?
