Offers and the new immediate payment system - a hiccup

As you know, eBay is moving over to immediate payment for best offers, auctions etc.

This means each item is paid for individually.

One of my customers has just had their bank account blocked because they bought a dozen items from one seller - the buyer sent an offer on each item, and as the seller accepted each offer, eBay took the money individually.

The buyer's bank saw a dozen small payments, within a few minutes, to the same payee, and blocked their bank account for suspected fraud.

This could be inconvenient for buyers and sellers with Christmas coming up.

The introduction of "Send Offer" was one of the best innovations on eBay over the last 10 years.

The recent banning of combined shipping on "Send Offer" items was one of the worst decisions eBay has made in the last 20 years*.  We have lost a lot of regular customers who have accused us of trying to rip them off over postage - all because we sent out offers.  Buyers are running away from eBay because they won't pay multiple postage payments.
