Is this a glitch

Can someone please check for me. I currently have some Triang contemporary double doors for sale. I have just sold one. Firstly it won’t give me the customers order details. It just says you have sold some items in the green banner above sold.. not order details..

Then if you click on the listing in results it is showing the name of the person who has just bought my item, rather than  amount available.

Have you just changed your ebay name?

If so, this may have something to do with the problem...... it can take a couple of days for the system to sort itself out after a name change.

Thanks. That was weeks ago…Perhaps it’s down to being a multiple listing. It is not showing amount available just the purchasers user name which really should not be happening. Imagine  if I was selling a rubber doll and everyone could see the buyers id 😂

As the listing was showing the last purchasers ID I removed the listing and relisted it.

When it comes to things like user names in feedback and other buyer's details on a sold item it is only the seller that can see them. If you open the sold listing in a private/incognito window without logging in you should not be able to see any of the buyer's details.

Does the order show up here or here?

I was looking at my listing in the general search of dollhouse miniatures. Instead of showing at the top in listing info it should have said good til cancelled. It was showing the buyers id. Instead
The order details in my sold section was not there. All it said in the green box was Some sold items,

I have removed the offending listing and relisted and if I now view it in general search it is showing as it should be.

Yes it did show there as being paid for but there were no order details. I had to go via my mobile app to access the address

That's normal. Only you (the seller) can see that information; if you copied and pasted the link into a private/incognito browsing window - i.e. where you're not logged in - you would not see the buyer's ID.

I get what you are saying but the multi quantity listing was still  live, not a sold listing. No buyers ID should show in a live listing where it says good til cancelled…

Here is what I see when I look at one of my own live GTC listings:

I can see the "Buyer ID" of the last buyer but only I can see it; you can check the listing for yourself here. This always happens with BIN listings that have multiple quantities; only the seller of the item ever sees the information in that box (provided they are logged in of course).

Thankyou. My other live listing multiple quantity does not show  the previous buyers id even though I had sold 2 which was why I thought something was wrong….and then not able to access order details.

One of those days….
