I am very dissatisfied with Ebay customer service advisors. I would like to make a complaint and would like to know how to do this?

I left bad feedback for a seller after the part they sent didnt fit the car it said (and was badly made), and they offered me £3 refund (cost £17) and sell it on, then offered £7.
Since then this company has messaged me every day, we're up to about 21 messages now, to change feedback. Ive reported the messages over and over again and haven't heard a peep from ebay. ABSOLUTELY USELESS.

I am a seller on ebay and unfortunately they do not care about private users now they have big names selling on there. My current complaint concerns threats of violence and abusive messages from a buyer. Despite the fact I have 100% proof the buyer is scamming me and despite the fact ebay themselves have agreed the buyer is scamming me and despite the fact his threats of violence toward me are worrying their response is I must accept the return, I must accept the loss of money and worse than that by accepting the return I must supply a return label with my address or have my account restricted. My many years as a highly rated seller with 100% excellent feedback count for nothing. I have to give someone threatening me with violence my full address. Meanwhile nothing is being done about the sender of these threats. Ebay are not interested but I wish you luck

If you're receiving threats of violence it is a police matter. If the item was delivered you need to contact the buyer's local police force and file a report - you will need to show copies of the messages and provide the buyer's details.

What proof do you have?

You only need to provide a return label; the return address does not have to be your own. If you book with a courier most allow you to have the item delivered to a collection point. Note that once the return label's tracking indicates delivery or attempted delivery you have 3 days to resolve the case or report an issue. If the buyer returns something other than what you sent (or returns an empty package) there is a way to ensure you are not out of pocket.

Best thing to do is turn your face to the brick wall and talk to that. You will get more sense. Then go outside and watch the grass grow. It will be overgrown before ebay customer services do anything. In my opinion they are the worst ever

"I'm in the fortunate position of owing ebay money which they can't access as I closed that account."
If you owe money I think you will find that eBay did not close the account and in any event eBay will get their money one way or the other.

It wasn't for selling commission it was for courier charges which the courier refunded to Ebay but they won't credit to cancel their charge to me, I would welcome the contact from someone even if it is a debt collector.
I don't understand how or why a courier would issue a refund to eBay.

Because they can't issue the refund to me because I used the Ebay courier service.

There is no eBay courier service though. If you purchased carriage on eBay then that would be through Packlink, who are a postage broker, and completely separate to eBay.
The courier would refund Packlink who in turn would reimburse you directly, so I don't see how that could possibly result in you owing anything to eBay?
If eBay believe that you owe them money then it can only relate either to unpaid selling fees or a refund that had to be issued to a buyer.

If it was refunded back to your eBay account then it should show as a credit.
I still don't see how that would result in you owing eBay anything? Did your buyer request a refund and if so did you refund them?

All seems rather bizarre to me, I have never heard of eBay organising a courier.
If the buyer didn't receive the items then presumably they must have requested a refund from you. If you didn't issue that refund yourself and eBay had to step in then that might explain why eBay think you owe them.
If eBay hasn't already involved the services of a Debt Collection Agency in the space of 9 months then I very much doubt that they have any intention of doing so. Presumably the amount involved is too small to make it economically viable, so the only way you are ever going to resolve this will be to keep speaking to eBay. If you haven’t done so already try requesting a callback first thing in the morning so that you get someone from the team in Ireland as they are more knowledgeable and have greater authority.

You need to write a formal complaint and send it to ebay head office
