Evri Parcel Price Increases

It seems that Evri have increased the price of a small parcel from £2.94 to £3.01.

2k - 5k have increase from £5.64 to £5.71.

I haven't seen any notifications about these increases.

Re: Evri Parcel Price Increases

I have been using Parcel2Go Smart Send. Evri is only £2.69 for a 1kg parcel. I haven’t looked at all prices but Evri and InPost prices seem to be very reasonable, lower than Packlink.

Re: Evri Parcel Price Increases

We Lose Evri Parcel will soon learn that even with their 'clever' business practices and treating both customers and local hatchback couriers with utter contempt, it still costs money to run a national parcel business and those same local couriers have petrol and maintenance costs to pay, and will simply walk away, often with little or no notice for a better job as and when it becomes available. Before long they will be no cheaper than Royal Mail / InPost and none of the benefits, one of whom will make an offer for the company which will be rapidly accepted. Trebles all round!

Don't forget they have lost the InPost locker access already which must have been a huge and unexpected blow.

Re: Evri Parcel Price Increases

Yes that's good if it's VAT inclusive. The only thing is, I get a great service from Packlink if there is any issue.

Re: Evri Parcel Price Increases

Yeah it’s VAT inclusive. I have used InPost Locker home delivery (Yodel) a few times last week as well just to see how quick they deliver, that’s £2.64 for the 1kg parcel and so far so good.

I can’t remember the prices now, I sent all my orders so can’t load prices but I remember seeing the 1-2kg parcel prices were a lot better too.

Touch wood I haven’t had to claim from Parcel2Go, hopefully it’s easy enough if there’s ever an issue.

Re: Evri Parcel Price Increases

I got an email via Parcel 2 Go to say that prices were going up 6p to cope with the xmas demand.

Ive been with Evri for years and this is the worse they have been for losing parcels and delays so hope that 6p means they sort their act out - but still way cheaper than RM

Re: Evri Parcel Price Increases

That’s right I’ve just sent one (Evri 1kg) with them it’s now £2.75. If anyone has a P2G account they don’t use, check your emails as they sent me a code for 50% off the next 3 Smart Send labels I bought recently.

Re: Evri Parcel Price Increases

It wasn't so long ago when the parcel prices were reduced by Ebay/Evri  before Christmas. Remember the times when we used to get a few special offers now and again??

First price increase I have seen from EVRI in some time to be honest.

Re: Evri Parcel Price Increases

I remember the pre-Christmas discounted labels too.  I hadn't seen anything to say they were putting the prices up either.  However I have been expecting it to happen at some point as Evri labels must be the only thing that hadn't gone up at all in the past couple of years.

Re: Evri Parcel Price Increases

I'm guessing they want the extra money to pay for their purchase of DHL Ecommerce.
