Available quantity

Is there any way of finding out what is changing my available quantity on my listings. I use Zoho inventory and it's showing the correct stock but eBay isn't on certain items. I've pushed the stock levels and it is correct on eBay for a while but then changes again later. The sync logs on Zoho are showing no extra activity. Hope someone can help because I'm baffled. Thanks

Re: Available quantity

The only thought is that when the listing renews that the quantities are reverting back to the original quantities when listed - this is a common occurance on ebay

Re: Available quantity

Thanks for your reply. I'm pretty sure it isn't that because I have corrected the stock several times in one day and every time it will revert back to the incorrect stock level.

Re: Available quantity

Another thought could be that you are meeting your listing quantities and it is reducing the quantities to the maximum allowed -

Another thought is that if your platforms / website quantities are linked that the linking software is reducing the quantities to either the maximum stock declared / allowed or decreasing as they sell elsewhere

Re: Available quantity

There's no real pattern that I can sport. One group of listings are supposed to be out of stock but eBay keeps changing it to 2, 3 or 4. Another group of listings are supposed to be at 2 but it keeps changing to 0. I only sell on eBay so it has to be from there. I'm going to call them tomorrow. Thank you for trying to help.

Re: Available quantity

Hi there,

When I had a similar issue it was down to the external stock integration software, it did something that freaked out eBay and said I had thousands of products in stock when the were out of stock.  I sacked off the software and now use another one.  I had a few disgruntled customers and lots of refunds to issue thanks to that.

Overselling is not fun, especially when you get downgraded for it!  So good luck....
