Hi everyone🙂.I'm from Poland and I run Anchor Shop on ebay.uk with second hand football, rugby and other sports memorabilia shirts.
1 of the reasons I run this shop is that ebay allows to list in 2 categories.
I get message 2 months ago that I can't list in category sporting goods/clothes as they don't know my suppliers and I have no invoices.
I explained that these shirts are for over 20 years collected by me and I also buy from other individual collectors which don't run companies and don't give me invoices.
They said okay you can keep all your listings in 2 categories but new listings you have to move to other categorie.I said okay no problem.
1 month ago AI started to remove my listings.
After 1 day I had and idea to remove second category and AI stops to remove 30 of my listings per hour but 1 per hour as I removed second category but not from all listings as system blocked some of my listings with active offers etc.So it removed all I could not remove second category and all about 1000 from day it started.
I have over 10 000 listings. All my removed listings have 2 categories, all in 1 categorie are still alive.
I contact customer service about it but they keep ignoring me.They checked and answered that in the past I have had vero removed listings(true but I always answered with serial numbers which shows they were wrong) and they can't do nothing about this.
To list 1000 listings is really very hard job as I renew every shirt, make photos etc. This is 6 months of my work and they just ignoring me.I'm over 10 years on ebay with over 10 000 100 % positive feedbacks. If I were fake seller I would have bad feedbacks from customers don't you think?

Sounds like a tricky situation.
It sounds like you've made a start on protecting your listings.
I think in your shoes, I'd start by doing an excel all listings report - so I had record of all listings.
Then bulk edit all to remove the second category - I didn't quite understand if you've done this?
For those with active offers or that can't be edited at present, I'd be tempted to end all of those, do a sell similar so you can bulk edit prior to listing. I'm guessing all are one off's so no sales history to save.
I don't think you'll get anywhere with eBay on being able to sell in the sporting goods category. There was a case with a very big US seller a while back and if you can't prove providence of your items they've taken a clear apparently rigid stance.

Thank you for your reply.
I have removed second category after 1 day when AI started to remove my listings.
Otherwise all my listings would be removed I think.
So AI removed all my listings with 2 categories.
The problem was this second category but they informed me that AI removed my listings becouse I sell fake items.
I can't now do nothing but reply to every listing which has been removed (over 1100)and proof that all shirts removed are genuine. It would take few months propably.
I can't relist or edit etc.
This is clear AI error but customer service is ignoring my messages.
